This man will become an even bigger part of my life journey starting next week as we tie the knot and get married! So I thought I’d share a little bit about this dreamboat if you didn’t already know him.

You could see he’s a language-nerd (he speaks 4 languages fluently!), loves sci-fi, action movies, superheros, video games, cyber-punk, drinks, linguistics and Impressionist paintings. He was born in Washington D.C., spent his childhood living in Paris and his teenage years growing up in Vienna, Austria before moving to the United States at 17 to go to college in Boston. He’s always been confused about his identity having grown up as a “third culture kid” and is always stumped when people ask him where he is from. He acts more European than he does American, but he also has a bit of Latin Venezuelan blood from his father’s side.

A logical, practical but dreaming Virgo, he’s my perfect zodiac match and the complete opposite of me. He makes me laugh harder than any friend I’ve had, and for someone who is always easily bored of people/places and things, I have never once been bored of this man and his wit and quick mind. He is calm and peaceful, elegant and diplomatic, always accepting and understanding of others. He has the worst memory of anyone I know and he is the most compassionate person that I know. He is a bit aloof…a bit oblivious…but has the sweetest heart and he treats me like a queen. He’s logical and solid in public, but becomes the silliest, mushiest goof in private and I adore him. When I say I am lucky, I seriously mean it. He does everything for me.
