Alsace France Family Photographer

As a destination family photographer currently based in Alsace France, I love photographing kids – even more so at golden hour! And Petite France in Strasbourg is such a gorgeous spot to photograph families when the skies are clear and the sun is shining low.

I’ve shared on the blog before how golden hour is the best, most ideal and flattering time to photograph outdoors, and as a natural light photographer, I am always planning my photo sessions around the light and time. 

I’m that photographer that looks at sunset and sunrise time calendar a year in advance! 

It really does make that much of a difference. 

This sibling photo session was in Petite France in the beautiful city of Strasbourg. My husband and I are American expats, and currently, we call Strasbourg in Alsace our home.

More than any other subject, siblings are my absolute favorite to photograph. 

It’s easy to get all those silly whispers and hidden jokes from the natural, close chemistry that siblings have with one another. Plus, bustin’ out into dance moves with your brother or sister makes for some seriously joyous imagery!

As someone who loves photographing children and their families more than any other, I love getting the chance to photograph families on vacation here in France and surrounding Alsace.
