One thing that I love with lifestyle newborn sessions is I get to see where people live, where they do life.
I got to see little V’s crib, where his mother nurses him at the late hours of the night, their family all together at the dining room table… it just tells such a deeper story to me, one that I love to tell because I want their family to look back on these days and remember them: the chaos, the joy, the quiet, the loud, I want these memories to come flooding back. It’s why I love lifestyle family photography. Lifestyle photography is natural, real and all about the honest human connection. It’s not perfectly posed, and I definitely don’t pose my newborns. I focus on documenting the real – real moments, real stories.
